Details

32oz bottle — covers a typical 10–20 plant collection for ~6 months.

Liquid nutrition built for the plants that live with you. The same broad-spectrum organic inputs that grow vegetables — measured and balanced for the houseplants, orchids, and succulents that depend on you for everything.

Houseplants live in a closed system. Everything they get comes from you. Indoor Houseplant Food is balanced for that reality — broad-spectrum organic nutrition built from fish manure, fish emulsion, sea kelp, and mycorrhizal fungi, finished with peppermint oil that smells clean, not fishy. Safe for the leaf, safe for the cat, safe for the toddler who keeps eating the dirt. OMRI Listed for organic use. CDFA approved.

Results

Glossier leaves. More vigorous new growth. Healthier roots. Longer-lasting blooms on flowering houseplants and orchids. A microbial community that keeps potting mix alive between repots.

Ingredients

Fish manure, fish emulsion, sea kelp, volcanic ash, mycorrhizal fungi, peppermint oil. Broad-spectrum NPK plus calcium, magnesium, silica.

How to use

General houseplants: 1 tsp per cup of water, every 2 weeks during active growth. Orchids: ½ tsp per cup, weekly during the growing season. Succulents & cacti: ½ tsp per cup, monthly only. Winter / dormancy: reduce to monthly, or skip entirely.

Frequently asked

Will my apartment smell like fish?

No. The peppermint-oil finish gives it a clean, garden-fresh scent, not the strong fish-emulsion smell some organic fertilizers carry.

Is it safe for my cat or dog?

Yes, when used as directed. No synthetic chemicals; no waiting period after application before pets can be around watered plants.

Can I use it on edible herbs?

Yes — basil, mint, parsley, chives, the whole windowsill. OMRI Listed for organic use; rinse before eating.

How often should I feed?

Every 2 weeks during active growth (spring/summer), monthly during dormancy (late fall/winter). Skip feeding any plant that's clearly stressed before troubleshooting the cause.

Why does my plant look the same after one application?

Plants respond on plant time, not human time. Most houseplants show visible difference in 2–4 weeks. If nothing changes in 6 weeks, check light, water, and roots before adding more fertilizer.

How long does a 32oz bottle last?

A typical houseplant collection of 10–20 pots for roughly 6 months of regular feeding.

Application guide

How to use Organic Indoor Houseplant Food

Three simple steps — no expertise required.

1
Measure

Open the bottle or bag and follow the dilution rate on the label. Liquids: 1–2 oz per gallon of water. Biochar: one cubic foot per 64oz bag.

2
Apply

Drench the root zone, mist the leaves, or work into soil — depending on the product. Water in lightly when applying to soil.

3
Repeat

Most products: every 2–4 weeks during active growth. Reduce or skip during dormancy. Biochar is a one-time application — permanent.
